I had my xv6700 replaced with a Touch Pro -- they added on a data plan saying it was required but I *****ed at them and they said since it was a replacement phone that it was different and that I didn't have to sign on to one (and I'm not now). I was overseas and didn't use my phone most of the summer but since I've returned in the midst of flashing it's dialed for data a few times and surely has transferred at least a few kilobits but I never see data charges on my bill. I thought I would be charged 1.99/MB.

Anyone else in a similar situation with VZW?
