Re: Alltel Touch Pro needs replacing, what will happen?
hi guys. I had the touchscreen go bad on my alltel touch pro just over labor day weekend and went into the store for a replacement. Since it was under warranty they were supposed to ship me a brand new one. They claimed it would arrive around september 22nd.
I look in the mail today and find a package from alltel -- fantastic. I open it up and find a Touch Diamond inside with a note stating that either i can accept this touch diamond as a permanent replacement or use it as a loaner until the Touch Pro is available. The letter states that touch pros are currently on backorder with the manufacturer.
Apparently i should have just sent this in via the insurance rather than through warranty.
