You can do that in s2u2, simply use the configurator to set "Start on backlight off" to the on toggle.
Then make sure that in your power management settings of your ppc, you set the backlight to go off at 10s, 30s, 1min, or whatever you like
I have mine set to cut slide2unlock2 on after 30 seconds of idle, and then sleep my phone after 5 seconds of s2u2 being idle
