Opera still runs in the background when push is disabled. There is a cab floating around that automatically removes Opera from the background while turning off push internet. Just be warned that Opera opens dramatically slower. Think how slow it was opening for the first time, when you saw the HTC logo come up while you waited. Does anyone know of any other options. I have push internet disabled on my phone but it keeps connecting to the internet every couple of hours. That has to be a drain on the battery. I like Opera but I don't like that it it connecting for no apparent reason.
Anybody have any ideas? Thanks for your help!
