Unfortunately my setup is a bit more complex than that. If I setup DHCP to be enabled, I would need to lease out 17 IP's. Several for my web servers, workstations and xbox. Additionally XBOX does not support DHCP in a friendly manner because you have to set the xbox in the DMZ.
Reconfiguring applications and services to use a different IP when it's lease expires or an ip changes can be a PITA.
Bottom line is the Mogul supported static IP's, my touch pro even did what I needed it to. This Touch Pro2 should as well. I'm using a WRT54G as well.
Essentially it's useless as a WiFi device for me. A very major component for me.
