Ok. So I installed the softkey.applet that I found on the site. It did what it was supposed to do, so no arguments there. However when it stoped performing the expected keys, such as "send" when messaging or just any other actions then the default. So i uninstalled it and installed AEB hoping it would fix it. Same problem as before. The original applets words will not change. The applet icon will not animate once pressed. Basically the original applet will not uninstall its settings and I cannot do anyting about it.

Any ideas? IF needed I will reflash my ROM when i get back in town, that is a last resort however.
