Wifi sharing is exactly what it sound like. You use your device as an portable hotspot and whatever other devices you have such as laptops, ipod touch etc.. can connect to it! Is it illegal you ask? It depends on what perspective your looking at.....fooling around no it's not illegal. Your service provider cant and shoudn't charge you a ridiculous fee if you have an unlimited data plan, because the wifi sharing program acts as the phone and you service provider thinks your simply browsing the internet! And no they cant find out unless you notify them! I use it all the time and don't accur additional charges!
