Try this registry HKLM > HTC > AudioManager_Eng > Config > device_scan_path_path
or
device_scan_path_path_0
try changing one of those to \Storage Card
or
HKLM > HTC > AudioManager_Eng > Information > available_storage_card > Storage Card;

I have 2 main questions. Sorry if this was already discussed but I did not see any clear answers.
First, Kitchen or ROM?? What does the Kitchen do that the ROM doesn't and what is the best to use? Any major advantages of one over the other??
Second, builds version... 23412 or 23053? What I understand is that 23053 is newer that 23412 and works better with a better stability even if the build number is smaller?? Is that correct?
Thanks for your tips and answer. Based on the infos you will provide, I'll try the ROM or the Kitchen.

For a "noob" just go with the prebuilt ROM's to start. The kitchen may just confuse you. I have tried both the 23412 and 23053 and the 23053 is definitely better. They are from different build lines, so while saying 23053 is "newer" may be a true statement. They aren't from the same "Team". That is why sometimes some of the things which are fixed in a 234.. are not fixed in the subsequent 230.. or vice versa.
