had wm devices for 3 or 4 years. I've flashed Roms, used skyfire ,opera, customized wallpapers you name it I did it thanks to everyone her at ppcgeeks. But it's time you Guys and girls do what I did....stop throwing down hundreds of dollars for iPhone wannabees. Stop hiding behind comments like "it's for idiots" or I'm a wealthy business man and I need to take pictures of business cards." When you jailbreak these things the sky is the limit. Every app that apple makes can be cracked and then there are millions that independent developers make. I honestly just want some of you that can, to swallow your pride and do some research. Try hackulous.com. I mean I have skype on my phone and something called 3g unrestrictor and I can call anyone anywhere for less than a penny and not use cell minutes. Not to mention tomtom, satelite radio,so much more.... And games??? I'll just start and finish with madden 10....so there will be many of you who just talk **** now but if saved just one of you from wasting more mone on a "HighTechComputer" then I've done my Jobs...
Just because you're a wealthy businessman (yes, that's actually one word), doesn't mean you're not an idiot. Not saying you specifically are, just sayin'.

They key word that you're mentioning is jailbreak. You have to HACK your phone and BREAK POLICY to do what you want with it. And you have to avoid updates just to keep it that way. That's really sad. It's only a matter of time before they introduce an update process that basically doesn't allow you to use the phone if it's not to their liking. They've done it before with iTunes, they'll do it to the iPhone.

Sometimes people get upset about Microsoft not advertising enough or not promoting all of their stuff. In reality they don't need to. Apple needs to market the hell out of their products because they know they can't do as much as Microsoft can. And really, all you mac-fanboys are just sheep to their advertising. You're too afraid to like this wonderful man:

(or get dominated by this guy: http://www.lauriemcguinness.com/ )

BOTTOM LINE: If I buy a phone, I want to do what I want with it. I don't want to be limited by design (exchange batteries, no QWERTY keyboard, etc etc.), use f**king iTunes and Quicktime (not allowed on ANY of my computers), I want to install whatever programs I want without breaking POLICY. It's my phone; it's not a leased phone where I have terms when it comes to what I want on it (I know that sometimes this is based on provider, but on T-Mobile, I really don't have any limitations with my TP2).

If you want an iPhone, go right ahead, buy it. If it's your bag to play with fart emulators and fight against your software and provider to use your phone professionally, go right ahead. Align yourself right up with these guys in the starbucks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12JTDp6xm18 because that's the same type of people you are (all show, no functionality).

And stop with the blaming AT&T. Apple CHOSE to sign on with them. It's both of their faults that you have to struggle to defend your purchase in forums so you don't feel like an idiot. iPhone users have to climb ladders just to get where WM users were right when they bought the phone.
