Which version of TCPMP are you using? I recommend giving this one a try.

You can aso convert the .avi into .mp4 format and play it with HTC Album...which, according to my understanding, has some sort of accelerated video driver support. Here's a nice app to do precisely that...and the best part is...its FREE!

FYI: please try searching a bit first before starting a thread next time. There is already a wealth of info on media players and such for WinMo...all just waiting to be 'googled'. Goodluck.
