Hmmm, tried it myself and looks like you're right...doesn't seem to work. On that XDA
thread there is mention that Advanced Config has this exact option (
post #14). Perhaps try that.
EDIT: OK, scratch that too! Just installed Advanced Config, found the setting and enabled it, but it doesn't work either! Must be a TP2 thing
EDIT2: I just did a registry comparison of the Advanced Config setting, with the wifi standyby option on and then off...all it does is to change the same registry keys mentioned in my original post but with different values....
Resuming 1 --> 4
Suspend 1 --> 4
Unattended 0 --> 4
The first values (1 / 1 / 0) are what Advanced Config set when I turned the wifi standby option on. The rightmost values (4 / 4 / 4) are what it set them to when I turned that option back off again!
