I've noticed that when my Sprint TP2 is connected to PC via a usb cable, the activesync connection will always be alive even if I turn of my phone with the power button. I don't think I saw the same behavior with my previous HTC vogue. Anyone seeing the same thing?
My TP2 is having pretty lame battery life and now I suspect that it never really goes to standby when I press the power button. I used
acbPowerMeter to monitor power consumption and found the power chart continues to draw even after I pushed the power button. So it looks like the power button only made the phone turning off the screen instead of having it go to standby. Any idea why this may happen? Thanks.
