The paragraph I copied from the Link above states that the Hero will require a plan with UNLIMITED DATA. It then goes on to talk about plans such as the Everything Plans which include Unlimited Data.
The key sentence is the First Sentence.

I take this paragraph to mean what it states. Plans such as mine and others that have UNLIMITED DATA will be Eligible to activate the Hero if we wish to.
The bottomline is that if we can activate the Diamond, Pro, Pro 2, etc. on our existing Plans with Unlimited Data, and the Hero, etc. do not use any more Data than the aforementioned devices, then we should also be able to activate those devices on our plans without having to switch plans.
Why require EP plans for the Pre, Hero?, etc. when you don't require them for the Touch Diamond, Touch pro, Touch Pro 2, etc.?
