I agree that the cover is awkward. I push it straight on, but one of the clips on the side does not seat properly. So after I push it straight on, I slide the cover up about 1/8" (as if I am going to remove it) and then slide it right back. This allows all the clips to engage properly. I found this to be the fastest way without having to remove the stylus.

I see people posting their connection speed--but why? It's one thing to show EVDO/HSDPA speeds, but I see people posting wired connections and I am puzzled (especially when the speed is not all that impressive). So, in that spirit, I will post mine:
