Re: Friend asked why I didn't buy an iPhone...

Tell your friend that you get much more out of your phone and don't insult him.

I've used iPhones quite a bit, kept one for a few busy days.

I'm in a position where I often recommend smartphones for small business owners and employees. When they ask what I use, I show off my TP2 (or TP back in the day), then I usually tell them that they should get an iPhone.

I'm not crazy, just practical. I don't care about typical iPhone user or the fact that people use it for fruity games and apps. I can get the dumbest iPhone user to connect to his Exchange server in 2 minutes flat and from what I see, it handles the sync exceptionally well. The e-mail viewing function on iPhone, in my opinion, has no equal. It handles heavy call volume, call waiting, 3-way works reliably, visual voicemail is another great time saver. This is why the chances are that your doctor uses an iPhone, and so does your lawyer. Are they all dumb ?

The moment somebody gets an iFruit, support calls end. I can then spend my time helping Blackberry users and a single WinMo client that I have left (have you reset today ? Reset again, please).
