Re: Piracy, warez and You.

I don't have a problem paying for software but when you are charging $20+ dollars for a program that runs on your phone I think that is ridiculous. A lot of the most successful aps on the ap store for iphone are only a few dollars or even a buck. Not saying it doesn't cost money to develop a program or something isn't worth $20+ dollars but come on. I think someone is way more likely to pirate something when the developer is charging a lot. I think there is a great need for a mobile marketplace for windows. If I had quick access to tons of aps on my phone with most programs under $5 bucks. I would have no problem buying a few every month and wouldn't think twice. I just don't see why developers feel the need to charge so much for programs. Sell in quantity. It's like amazon selling DRM free music. I would rather just go there and pay a buck which is a fair price then try and mess around on limewire or whatever. I'm not gonna distribute it and so what if I burn it on a cd. I really hope they get the ap marketplace up and running and they put all this in one place. I hardly have any aps on my phone just cause it's pain in the *** to find programs I want, register and pay for them.
