TP2 Network Share

I have been frustratingly trying to map/access network drives on a linux Samba server using Resco Explorer, Total Commander, as well as the stock file explorer via a WiFi connection...all to no avail.

Back in my TP days...using MightyROM, I was able to do this without any issues whatsoever. Is the stock sprint ROM missing some network plugins or something? Has anyone successfully attempted to map/access network shares on the TP2?

Edit: Using Resco Explorer, I was able to access shares on a Windows XP machine...but am still, unfortunately, unable to access files on my Linux server. Hmmm...i'll dig some more, and report back when I can.
