Re: Verizon VX6700 Hard Reset trouble. Phone won't work at all now! Did I screw it up

Generally apaches are tanks, but like anything, dropping it can and eventually will damage the phone. I'd start saving up for a replacement. I've dropped my old apache only once the entire 2 years I owned it, and it somehow managed to sink my internet, no clue how or why, but internet refused to work properly (evdo, wifi was fine).

But, other then buying a new phone, I would suggest cleaning it, I've seen my old qwest apache seemingly lock up and it was due to dirt in the sides of the screen causing havok, it wouldn't register my taps since it was already being tapped by the dirt buildup, use a business card and gently clean around the sides (under the plastic) and see if the screen responds, or at least helps with the freezing. As for the service, can't offer much help there other then clean the screen and hard reset again.
