dont know the post but open opera and type "opera:config: in the address bar and click go. open the user prefs portion and go down to where it says max tabs and change it to whatever you want.

thanks i had found it right after i posted but that just changes it until you exit out. You need to edit the opera.ini file inside the windows/opera9 folder and swith it to however many tabs
