That still doesn't make any sense. Wait...maybe it does. But this is the wrong way to do it.
Are you trying to connect your phone to the internet and then connect to your phone from your computer using WIFI to use your phone as a bridge to the internet?
Won't work. I am pretty sure you can't use WIFI and your data service simultaneously. Even if you could, though...this would be the hard way to do it.
I believe what you're looking for is called "tethering". You want to hook up your phone to your computer using your normal ActiveSync USB cable...then connect to the internet. If you're using a stock ROM, you're probably going to want to use the Wireless Modem. When you start it up and connect, your computer will see a new modem attached to your computer. Set up a Dial-Up Networking to call #777 on your phone and use your username and password to connect.
This is the hard way. The easier way is to upgrade to an AKU 3.5 ROM or preferably a true WM6 ROM. I suggest looking at either the kitchen or RobMayer's Clean, NoJunk ROM based on helmi_c's work. If you upgrade to one of these ROM's you'll get an app called "Internet Sharing". Just launch it and connect your phone to your PC using the cable. That should be all you need to do. The PC will see the phone then as a new network adapter and automatically set up networking to use it.
