I don't think it is possible to flash from SD. What windows version are you using? If you are using vista, make sure to disable USB connections in Mobile Device Center (under settings>connection settings). In XP do the same for active sync.

Hard reset (both softkeys and reset button in the bottom) 3 or 4 times.

Flash using the USB cable only, not the cradle.

Update your buildos.

Build a NEW FRESH ROM for WM 6.1 and check and double check your boot loader version on the phone and select it in the kitchen. Make the ROM clean and light, just SD card drivers, don't worry about extra software. Choose the correct carrier.

Usually disable USB connections and bootloader versions are the reasons for not being able to flash.
