The apache's active sync is probably all screwed up using a backup from a different wm version, try reflashing to either 6.1 or 6.5 then try again. Bootloader isn't recognized by windows without specific drivers being installed just for that, it installs as a qualcomm modem and qualcomm diagnostic port, it's used primarily for MSL retrieval, and in some cases, ESN swaps or other such things you shouldn't worry about.

You can also try reflashing to whatever WM you wanted in the first place, then restore ONLY contacts, appointments, taks notes or whatever else, but NOT restoring registry, program or settings, if thats an option on restore, I use sprite so I dunno about spd backup.

Either way, reflash first, then try again.
