have you tried the battery tweak listed in this post: tweak number 6:

that may help with battery draw. regarding battery drivers cab, I am not sure about that or is that a cab which makes the registry edits listed in tweak 6?
Regarding available memory, NRG is looking into a cleaner version of his rom to offer us memory-starved Diamond owners
. He will probably release one once he settles on this and a different keyboard to correct freezing issues. The key here is to offer a cleaner rom but not take away from the core of the rom, that is it's personality if that makes sense.
