Coming from other HTC devices (6600,6700,Touch) I'm afraid I don't like FT3D. Have scoured the boards to try to accomplish the following:

Today Screen Mods
1. Get rid of call history.
2. Add other applications to Today Screen such as Weather Panel
3. Ideally make date bigger font
4 Remap Left and Right Soft Keys to iContacts and ThumbCal or change Today Calender to ThumbCal

I have changed several approaches to remapping the soft keys:

Registry changes to L/R SoftKey Text and Path as oulined in TouchPro threads. I can change the displayed text, but even if I leave the Path as default, the new text "breaks" the link and nothing launches.

Three TF3D configuration tools (one as CDMA version) found in searches including KeySwop, to no avail.


I also find that I absolutely hate the email viewer (envelope) in TF3D Tabs and much prefer the WM default line listing, but can't fingure out how to change that either.

I appreciate any help/suggestions, otherwise I will probably disable TF3D and use another Today Plug In/Launcher.
