Wow, I didn't realize that. Just tried it on my newest build 7(in testing) based off the new kitchen and it does not work. I assume this worked in WM5? If so, I bet it's a WM6 issue.

Rob, looks like you're continuing to do some awesome work. I think I'll try out your build 6 (or build 7) and a custom one using the new kitchen when I get my new (refurb) phone. I may switch over to using the kitchen, but I still feel like what you do is important. I know I've been flashing ROMs on my phones for months and this is the first time I've felt brave enough to try to cook my own (and I may decide never to do so again once I've flashed it!), so keep up the good work!

Ouch, your phone radio died... just out of nowhere? That really sucks. Good thing you are getting a replacement one though. I've only replaced my xv6700 once, and that's just because I felt like getting a new one... and I did
.
Also, re-imaging a pc can be a pain... seems like I've done 500 of them this week(XP and Vista). I do quite a bit of clean installing, because half the people I visit that have computer trouble have screwed their systems up way beyond repair! Nobody understands spyware threats or safe internet browsing habits anymore either... then there goes their pc
.
Anyway, thanks a lot for checking back here even though the kitchen is out. I have had a few problems with it, but it looks like it has a lot of potential to make some nice roms. I am still going to continue my work because the kitchen can only do so much. Sure, you can add OEM's if somebody packages them up and posts them. You can also customize what's already there, ect. But what about more advanced changes like registry edits, and adding stuff that's not in the oem packages?
This is where I have been stepping in. For example, the kitchen still leaves the registry value HKLM\System\VOIP\SIP to enable port 5060 disabled. Well, you can go in and manually change it everytime you hard reset or reflash. But I just go and change it in the ROM and re-encode it, so it's always there. I think you know where I'm going though. I mean... I'll see what happens, but I'm pretty sure I'll continue my work. Maybe I'll start making OEM's for the kitchen too, I dunno. But thanks for the support, I appreciate it!
