I dont think its windows thats the problem its the version of outlook..if your version is 2000 or older it wont work try upgrading outlook express to an earlier version... dont quote me as I'm not real sure on what year is needed..I just no my outlook is to out of date so I cant sync and cant afford a newer version of outlook
