I downloaded "freecaddie" about 10 days ago, and have used it on three different courses. Rock solid for me ... can't believe it was totally free. I use it with a black screen background (easy to see), manually advance the next hole, and turn it off in between strokes. The battery is still above 50%, even after a four hour round. By the way, my playing partners and I really checked the distances closely with course markers, and found them incredibly accurate. Good stuff ... and really hard to beat free.
