KK, So I did some rootin around on this subject, because more than one person is getting this error. I am a huge fan of NRG's and would definitely want him to know if he had an issue. But he doesn't. The answer is, Those of you that are getting this message, are getting it because AVG Antivirus is retarded. LOL. AVG picks up Hermann_CustomRUU.exe as a trojan, because at some point, Some idiot had gotten the W32/Titog.worm. It is also known on many virus sites as DC17.exe. Well when he/she reported it, it was catagorized in the AVG Library as, W32/Titog.worm, Varient Dc17.exe, Varient Hermann_CustomRUU.exe It is also known as DC17.exe on the AVG virus Library, but for some reason, Hermann_CustomRUU.exe is in the database. So I decided to look into this a lil deeper. Titog.worm is a P2P Virus. It is a commonly known virus that you can pick up on Limewire, Frostwire, Kazaa, and so on. so it would make no sense for it to be attached to a Bootloading file. The only thing I can figure, is when the idiot reported it, Maybe he/she had a TouchPro and happened to be Putting a new ROM on his/her phone, as report was being made, and the computer added it, as it was a current active .exe file.
So out of the long explanation, where as Hermann_CustomRUU.exe is a Bootloader program, and not a P2P program. You should feel safe that it is a false positive. Unless you of course, downloaded this ROM from Kazaa. then,,, ,BEWARE!!!! MUWAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!!!!!!!
