XV6950 users . . . Just do it. It works perfectly. My verizon Diamond GPS is unlocked and working with google maps.
If I had time to do it and knew how, I'd copy this post to the basic Diamond thread. Perhaps a site administrator will find it and do so. Why in the world could not Verizon have done this for us.
