Something interesting is that the Telus and Verizon are the same Rhom500 and U.S. Cellular and Sprint are Rhom400
Telus: rhod500 is msm7601
1X EVDO REV A 800/1900MHz, HSPA 2100MHz, GSM/ GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900MHz
Sprint: rhod400 is msm7600
CDMA: Dual-band 800/1900MHz, CDMA2000 1xRTT/1xEVDO rev. A, and IS-95A/B voice or data, with up to 1.8 Mbps up-link and 3.1Mbps down-link speeds
It appears that Sprint's TP2 has all the CDMA standards covered, new and old, but didn't include ANYTHING GSM. I'm thinking that Sprint is NOT a world phone anymore...
BUT...
Then there's this from the Touch Pro 2's User Guide:
"Your device allows you to roam throughout the world using both CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) and GSM (Global
System for Mobile Communications) networks. For a complete list of countries and features available, visit
www.sprint.com/sww."
"Your device comes with a preinstalled SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card to support roaming on
compatible GSM networks. The SIM card must be activated for international wireless service prior to its initial
use (outside of the United States)."
Interesting...
