I was also getting the same error (might have been different Hex though; not sure) when I tried the .7 kitchen that I got about two weeks ago.
I'm running XP,sp2.
Any ideas? Did I miss some step where I had to download a supporting file or something?
I'm really looking forward to this!

Dot Net Framework perhaps? The thing is you would have encountered this using the 3.5 kitchen also, so I dunno.
