I tried everything posted here and could only get it to see local but no internet so I had some time today and flashed from the stock verizon cf03 updated rom to CF03 Based 6.5 Vanilla ROM From Adrynalyne and it went great then loaded the files from this post for wifi connect and it connected right away, and my vista 64bit laptop seen the connection and had no problems connecting to local adn internet! didnt do anything else. So the sotck rom had to be the culprit. Anyone having problems should consider upgrading rom cause not only does wifi connect work but my omnia is super fast and very easy to use now, wow what a difference 6.5 makes
