Re: Stuck on defective TP1, Sprint BSing me on upgrade!
My first ppc was the Apache/6700.
That was the perfect phone. The only thing it was missing was gps.Yeah it was big, but with an extended battery it would go for days without recharge, it never overheated, and the screen worked perfectly. Plus ppcgeeks at the time was awesome, and the custom roms for wm5 were fast, lean, and easy to install.
Since then I have had a mogul, touch, touch pro and various palm devices. All of which have burned out keyboards, overheating problems, rainbow screens, and horrible battery life.
They all have been horrible. I have done numerous trips to the sprint store for repairs, none of which solved my problems.
Both of my current touch pros (mine and my wifes) are constantly overheating and draining the battery. She only uses her phone for talking, and it still overheats and dies.
SO I feel the OPs pain.
I could do a bunch of returns, but at this point I am sick of waiting 1-2 hours at the repair store during my lunch break, only for them to tell me that there is nothing wrong with the phones battery dying after 30 minutes with a full charge.
People on here have to admit some things, yes there are some people committing insurance fraud, but for those of use who willingly pay $7 dollars a month to get another broken refurb, we are getting the shaft.
I am hoping that this new tp2 will finally have a good build quality, good battery life, and a usable keyboard and touch screen. Plus the sim card support is perfect for my trips to the carribbean. But i have my doubts!!
