I made sure to cover this in my original post. Our phone batteries do not do this. The purpose of the full discharge in this statement serves only to "reset" the fuel gauge. It does no good in our phones, and as the article addresses, full discharges are not recommended for Li-Ion batteries.

As for the rest you quoted, I do dispute it, and it was a direct copy (or nearly so) from the linked article. I'm not sure why you quoted it.

No, this doesnt just apply to batteries with charge indicators. Eveything in my last post was directly from the Lion section from the arcticle you linked..
