If it's anything like the Storm, it will come with a Vodaphone SIM that will work overseas (overseas use different GSM bands than we do) and bill straight to your Verizon account and use your existing number. The GSM radio will be enabled but locked to Vodaphone SIM cards but you will be able to call Verizon and have them unlock it for use with a 3rd party SIM card. You'll have a different phone number when using that SIM card and all GSM billing will be handled by whoever you purchased the SIM from and not through Verizon. Thus, if you purchase a prepaid SIM, you get no bill.
