has anyone gotten activesync to work with the 9-2 rom? I noticed that under connections, there is a "`" before the word USB.

"`USB" is listed as the connection to use when docked. I don't have another phone to test to see what the name of the connection is called.

I've done a hard reset after flashing. I know that activesync was working before flashing.
