that's nonsense, they limit the fast charge because of *potential* damage to a computer's usb port, but fast charging only goes at about 904 mA's where as a usb port is designed to run at 1A (1000mA's). So unless the manufacturer of the motherboard with the usb is crappy and can't have their USB ports outputting at 90% of their power capacity. Something is wrong.
If the battery itself does die then just goto a Sprint store and get a new one for free, it wouldn't be YOUR fault that a battery can't do it's job
