those tips actually decrease performance ...... 1 yes you can remove the cachefilter from xip but doing so means that your rom will be slower to prove this theory build a rom without it then open your windows directory in the file explorer 2 the encryption filter works now why remove encryption unless you don't wanna ruin a sd card 3 htcfsfilter.DLL fsreplxfilt.dll if you do not know what these do I'd leave them alone but the best way to have a fully funtional rom is to tweak the xip not remove files from it .. that was something that was done in the past to save space when using the old tools with smaller xips tweak the boot.hv and rgu and you should be good to go ... and getting RAM back the safest way is to remove dead files from you IMGFS
