ya 3 visits to two dif. service centers and 3 phone calls later a guy on the phone finally replaced it. I ended up just putting it into bootloader and bringing it to the store. they just scratched their head and said sorry, it's fried. they wouldn't replace it though b/c there was a crack, no joke. the crack didn't cause it they said, but they couldn't replace it b/c it had damage and I had to pay $100 to insurance. Stupid sprint. oh well, finally got a new one today, time to flash and move on.
