I agree that purchasing or switching plans is on Sprint's agenda as to why such a High price for the Pro 2.

Doubtful. I think you'll have to keep your eyes open an hope a Sprint reseller eats some of the cost and drops the device price. In the last two WinMo generations I've been with Spint (since the Mogul). I have yet to see then drop the price of their top end Windows Mobile device.

Just like the Touch Pro. It is considered "EOL" and they have it still at $299.99. I remember the Mogul was $299.99 until it was taken down off their website.

Maybe Amazon will hook you up like they did T-Mobile customers.
