Has anyone tried this yet? I sorta did it by accident when I was playing with building nbh files... thanks dcd (I am now officially an addict)... seems to be working okay.... but I don't use bluetooth. I started wondering (not for any particular reason) if the 2.16 was originally designed for the 1.32 radio (the new radio being made afterwards and thus causing problems?), who knows? I don't use BT regularly so I dunno if it has the same issues are not. I guess I will see if it randomly locks up from roaming or switching to 1x or not (it's hard because I'm in a pretty much EVDO area). For now it's working fine and I'll leave it this way till the next time I flash something (when I finally learn the secrets of adding and removing packages).
