Start > Settings > Task Manager > Buttons > "Enable the X button to end running programs" = End Programs by tapping and holding X.
That way, if you hit x, it'll just minimize. If you hold X, it'll close. Alternatively, you could just hit the Home button and it'll keep the program open.
