i'm just as amazed as you guys, that's why i posted this thread. it has to be some kind of fluke. the phone is 4 days old and i've only charged it once. maybe as time goes on, something will change. Yesterday morning I got the phone off the charger at 8am, and when i looked at the phone at 3pm (when i usually had to put it back on the charger) it was still at 100%?!? I had only used the phone for a few texts and emails and maybe 1 call at that point, but i've been using it for a few other calls, texts, and even skyfire (maybe 25minutes total) and i'm only at 60% now. It's ridiculous!

Phone is completely stock. took it out of the box, unchecked TouchFlo, installed MobileShell3.0, and here i am. I've even played around with MobileShell, customizing some menus and setting all my contacts.

Another issue is that i'm usually in places where the signal cuts in and out of EVDO and 1x, and the last couple of days i've been in very good signal areas, never leaving EVDO. maybe that has the most to do with it. or maybe the phone will hit 50% and then just die on me. either way, i just don't understand it right now, especially without a custom ROM or anything.
