I have Parallels runnings Windows XP SP2 at home and at work I have regular Wintel box running Windows XP SP2 as well. I installed ActiveSync using the CD included with the mogul on both machines.

The issue is that at home the Mogul connects and syncs immediately with all the default settings. At work I can't get it to connect until I uncheck the "Enable advanced network functionality" in the Settings->Connections->USB to PC. It then works fine, but differently.

Someone may know more about this, but it seems to be using actual USB on the home PC, but USB to Serial, which seems slower on the work PC and also takes longer to connect.

Does anyone know any differences I can check that might cause this?
