The waste water out of those A/C units is pretty clean (I've even drank some before to prove a point to a co-worker) so you're actually quite lucky. If this was a toilet or a kitchen sink, you may not be in the same position or it could have taken a lot longer to get it working.
thats what i was thinking. only thing i can figure that saved me is that the water from those things is pretty clean and doesnt seem to leave deposits when it dries as bad as tap water or something would. I am still having a slight issue. Occasionally the volume down button sticks on and turns the phone to vibrate and i have to push it a couple times to get it to quit. Im guessing there is probably still some moisture in the button thats causing it, so im gonna just let it be and see if it dries out over the next day or so. Im leaving it sitting in front of the fan for the time being to help with the drying.
