Don't think it is a registry change. Some of the new ROM's only show the option to snooze instead of the old snooze option of 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour and 1 day.
This would apply to alarms, calendar notifications and task reminders.
There are tons of threads all over the place about how this can't be changed. I guess it may just be the new way WM does things.
