My favorite is a free program called CeRegEditor. You can just google search it and find a download spot. The best part of it is, it alters your registry over active sync. So when you have keys to add or values to change, you're doing it on your PC and it's making the changes on your device. Much easier to navigate the registry and type with a real mouse, and real keyboard.
dotfred (which was already suggested) is also really handy if you need to make a change on the go, so you might want to get both.
