Nope, you don't need the fixes. And yes, you should flash back to your stock rom and do a hard reset (or clear storage). Then flash back to beta6, then do another hard reset (or clear storage). Then test out the rom, adding any other 3rd party apps one-by-one, in order to make sure they aren't hendering the function of the rom. If you do this, I'm sure it will help with the lag and freezing of your phone.

Sometimes when you install one custom rom on top of another and keep doing it over and over, your phones gets very buggy. It's always best to flash back to stock first. Hope this helps...
