deck has stated numerous times that in winmo 6.5 the clock is meant to be in the taskbar, and that the battery only pops up in the taskbar after your battery power has dropped below 50%.
So, he leaves it to everyone to tweak their own devices by using a reg edit, if they'd like to see the battery in the taskbar at all times...
