if you install the 1.40 radio and then install the full 2.16 rom you will just then upgrade the radio to 1.47 again since the full 2.16 upgrade includes flashing to 1.47 radio.
you could do the 1.4 radio first and then use the link posted by a user in your other thread to install the 2.16 rom with no radio on it at all.
or what you can do is install the full 2.16 rom from the old htc link, THEN follow the instructions we have given to flash the 1.40 radio. that is how i did it.
